What you need before you start
Three things: (1) A Facebook page for your business, not a personal profile. (2) Your product catalog in any format: CSV, XLSX, or even a simple list. (3) A DmBuy account, free to start. That's it. No developer, no API keys to configure manually.
Step 1: Upload your product catalog
Export your products from wherever you manage them (Shopify, Excel, Google Sheets, your own system). The file needs at minimum: product name, price. Bonus columns the AI uses: description, stock, category, photo URL. Upload it in DmBuy and the AI indexes your catalog in seconds.
Supports CSV and XLSX. DmBuy reads product names, prices, descriptions, stock levels, categories, and image URLs. The AI learns your catalog on import, no manual tagging or categorization.
Step 2: Connect your Facebook page
In DmBuy settings, click "Connect with Facebook". You'll be redirected to Facebook, asked to select your page and grant Messenger permissions. One click to confirm. DmBuy hooks your Messenger webhook automatically, no developer console, no app configuration.
DmBuy connects to your Facebook page via standard OAuth. No token to copy-paste, no webhook URL to configure manually. The connection takes under 30 seconds.
Step 3: Your bot is live
That's it. Send a test message to your Facebook page from another account. The bot will reply within 2 seconds using your catalog data. You can see the conversation in real time in your DmBuy dashboard.
What the bot can handle from day one
Product questions ("do you have X in size M?"), price checks, stock availability, order taking (name, address, quantity), delivery method questions, payment options. The AI answers all of these without any configuration beyond your catalog.
